How it works

The wizard walks each cabinet from a blank box to a finished cut list. Add as many cabinets as the project needs.

Build the box

Pick a cabinet type — base, wall, tall, vanity, or corner — then enter width, height, and depth. Add shelves and set the quantity.

Add doors & drawers

Choose counts and layout, door style and overlay, and slide type. A live drawer-fit readout keeps everything filling the opening.

Dial in the face frame

Set stile and rail sizes, add a center stile or drawer dividers — or switch the whole cabinet to frameless.

Review & cut

Get the full cut list, sheet and linear layouts, and the 3D preview. Export the PDF and head to the shop.

See it before you cut it

Spin it. Blow it apart. Measure it.

The same live 3D preview that ships in the app — running right here in your browser. It's a true shop drawing, not a stock render: every carcass panel, stretcher, and door is projected from the cabinet's real dimensions.

  • Drag to rotate a full turn — the far side reads as light hidden lines, like a shop drawing.
  • Explode it into every part: sides, back, top/stretchers, toe kick, and doors.
  • Toggle Dimensions for the width × height × depth.
  • Tap any part to read its cut size and material.

Everything the shop needs

From rough dimensions to every part — calculated.

You size the boxes. CabCuts figures out the parts, the joinery, the material, and how it all nests on a sheet.

Every cabinet type

Base, wall, tall, vanity/wide, and corner — diagonal, square bi-fold, and blind. Pick the type and CabCuts knows how that carcass goes together.

Doors & drawers to spec

Solid slabs or five-piece frame-and-panel doors with cope-and-stick, mortise-and-tenon, or flush joinery. Drawer boxes auto-sized to real undermount and side-mount slide lengths.

Face frames or frameless

Stiles, rails, mullions, and drawer-divider rails calculated for you — or build frameless. Toggle a center stile, set per-rail heights, and it flows straight into the cut list.

A ready-to-order hardware list Pro

Blum TANDEM and Accuride slides listed by length, and Blum hinges by door height and overlay — a hardware list you can hand to the counter. Export as PDF or CSV.

Imperial, metric, five languages

Every reveal, clearance, and result is computed in your unit — nothing converted under the hood. Switch a project imperial↔metric in one tap, in English, Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese.

Cut sheets to the shop

A clean cut-list PDF with sheet diagrams, plus a material list as PDF or CSV. Everything you need at the saw.

Plan the whole wall

See the whole kitchen before a board is cut.

Wall View lays every cabinet and appliance into one scaled front elevation — across one to four walls — mounted to the datums a real kitchen uses. A self-checking findings list flags overlaps, gaps, and ceiling hits as you work, then it prints a landscape PDF with one wall per page. Same tool that ships in the app; here's a finished 12-foot wall you can explore.

  • Real appliances in place — range & microwave hood, refrigerator, dishwasher, and a sink under the window — placed at standard heights.
  • One to four walls in a single elevation; tap any cabinet or appliance to read its real size.
  • A findings checklist catches overlaps, gaps, and ceiling hits before you cut.
  • Counter at 36″, uppers at 54″, ceiling at 96″ — and a landscape PDF, one wall per page.

Who it's for

One box or a whole kitchen.

Whether you cut cabinets for a living or you're DIYing your own kitchen, the fear is the same — a wrong number, a wasted sheet. CabCuts answers it.

The small shop

Quoting and cutting all week. You need a parts list you can trust and a layout your saw can actually run. CabCuts sizes to real Blum and Accuride hardware, packs the fewest 4×8 sheets rip-first, and hands you PDF cut sheets and a hardware list for the whole job.

The weekend build

Building your first kitchen. You know what you want but not every reveal, dado, and drawer clearance. CabCuts does the cabinet math and shows you the box in 3D before you commit a sheet — so your first cut is the right one.

Materials, the smart way

Set your materials once. Override any cabinet.

Box stock, backs, door slabs, stiles and rails, drawer boxes, bottoms, and fronts — chosen once at the project level and inherited by every cabinet. Need an accent door, a finished end, or a different slide on one box? Override just that box; everything else stays in sync.

The packer

It packs the sheet like a cabinetmaker would.

CabCuts runs several guillotine strategies for every project and keeps the layout that uses the fewest sheets — then draws exactly where each part lands.

  • Guillotine-cuttable. Every cut runs edge-to-edge — a table-saw rip, then a crosscut. No inside corners.
  • Grain-locked. On plywood and veneer, grain always runs the sheet's 8-foot axis.
  • Offcuts back-filled. Small parts drop into leftover space before a fresh sheet is opened.

Before you ask

The questions a builder actually has.

How accurate are the numbers?

Every part is computed in your exact unit — no rounding through a hidden conversion — using real reveals, clearances, and hardware specs. It's a shop tool, so always confirm against your own material and setup before you cut.

Inches or millimeters?

Both, natively. Every reveal and result is calculated in the active unit, and you can flip a whole project imperial↔metric in one tap.

Face frame or frameless?

Either. Build face-frame cabinets with stiles, rails, mullions, and drawer-divider rails calculated for you, or switch a cabinet to frameless.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Quick-Build runs fully offline with no account. Pro adds cloud backup, sync, and sharing when you're online.

Does it replace my process?

No — it feeds it. CabCuts does the cut-list math and draws the box; you still verify, cut, and build. It's the calculator and the shop drawing, not an autopilot.

One cabinet or a whole kitchen?

Both. Quick-Build sizes one cabinet at a time, free. Pro projects hold whole kitchens with shared materials, full wall visualizations, and unlimited exports.
